Professor in oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University Hospital in Orebro, Sweden. Most of his research has been on risk factors for cancer such as exposure to pesticides and persistent organic pollutants. Examples of such agents are herbicides, dioxins, PCBs and brominated flame-retardants. During recent years he and his co-workers have studied use of cellular and cordless telephones and the risk for brain tumours. He works also as a consultant at the Department of Oncology at the hospital.Dr. Lennart Hardell
Associate Professor of Environmental & Resource Studies at Trent University where she teaches and does research on the biological effects of environmental contaminants. Dr. Havas received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, completed Post-Doctoral research at Cornell University, and taught at the University of Toronto before going to Trent University in Peterborough, CanadaDr. Magda Havas
Associate Professor and head of the Experimental Dermatology Unit in the Department of Neuroscience, at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, Professor Johansson was one of the first researchers to test the effects of mobile phones on people, especially those with the condition electro-hypersensitivity. Professor Johansson is also a participant in the Bioinitiative Report.Dr. Olle Johansson
(deceased)Robert C. Kane had been working as top developer inside Motorola for decades, developing mobile phones. He died from brain cancer a few years ago, not without leaving this planet with a message, which you can find in his bookDr. Robert C. Kane
Dariusz Leszczynski is Research Professor at STUK - Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, Helsinki, Finland and also Adjunct Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Helsinki. He has received M.Sc. (1978) and D.Sc. (1983) form the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland and Ph.D. (1990) from the Helsinki University, Finland. He has spent sabbatical periods in USA: 1990-91 as Visiting Scientist at Georgetown University, Washington, DC and 1997-99 as Visiting Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. In 2007-2010 he was Guangbiao Professor at the Zhejiang University School of Medicine, in Hangzhou, China. In 2011 he will be Visiting Professor at the Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorne/Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on biological effects of mobile phone radiation in human cells (in vitro and human volunteer studies). His research group uses high-throughput screening methods of transcriptomics and proteomics to identify genes and proteins affected by mobile phone radiation. Thereafter, cellular processes regulated by the identified genes/proteins are examined using classical cell biology methods to determine whether the observed changes in gene/protein expression/activity may have any impact on cell or tissue physiology. Since 1999 Leszczynski has advocated the use of high-throughput screening techniques of transcriptomics and proteomics to identify genes and proteins affected by EMF exposure. In 2002 he organized, at the bioelectromagnetics conference, the first ever scientific session on the topic of “Genomics, Transcriptomics and Proteomics” (October 2002, Rhodes, Greece). He co-organized and co-chaired two WHO/Cost281/STUK workshops in Helsinki, the first one on stress response (April 2004) and the second one on proteomics & transcriptomics (October 2005). He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Swiss National Science Foundation programme on non-ionizing radiation (NFP 57). He is currently the Chair of the Task Group on use of HTST in EMF research that is part of the ongoing EU COST BM0704 Action. He was a member of the Board of Directors of BEMS (2006-2009) and served as an Associate Editor of Bioelectromagnetics (2006-2010). He has Co-Chaired (with Dr. G. D’Inzeo of EBEA) the TPC for the joint meeting of the BEMS & EBEA - BioEM 2009, Davos Switzerland and (with Dr. Nam Kim) the TPC for the 2010 Annual Meeting of BEMS in Seoul, South Korea. In 2009 he has testified in the U.S. Senate hearing on “The Health Effects of Cell Phone Use” (14.09.2009). He has been invited to the IARC Working Group that will in 2011 evaluate carcinogenic effects of mobile phone radiation. He publishes scinece blog on the mobile phones and health issues (see link below). Dr. Dariusz Leszczynski.
(Don Maisch completed his Associate in Applied Science Degree in Architectural and Structural Building Design in the United States in 1973 and worked as a design draftsman in the nuclear power-plant division at Stone and Webster Engineering in Boston before migrating to Australia in 1975. His particular interest in EMF and buildings began in the early 1990’s as a researcher for Senator Robert Bell in Hobart, Tasmania. During this time he wrote numerous Senate submissions and reports on various aspects of EMF exposure standards. He is an associate member of the Australasian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine and has published four papers in their journal and has conducted numerous EMF building surveys in Hobart, Melbourne and Adelaide. He has served as a member of the Standards Australia TE-7 Committee: Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields and is currently a member of the consultative committee on setting power-line EMF standards for the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA). He is currently completing a PhD thesis on radiofrequency risk assessment externally through the University of Wollongong and maintains a web site at http://www.emfacts.com.Dr. Don Maisch

Wave theory only explains part of how energy works, Photon (or small particale ) theory is also par tof how it works. The application of Photon theory - especially in the near field area (ther range a cell phone is in when it is used next to the ear.) may offer some interesting insights in to how microwave radiation adffects human body.Photon Behaviour
