Why the Vantreight Hill Project?
How many reasons does one need before the development is stopped?
Is it time to prepare for the next municipal election in 2011?

Water Issues
- There is no strong assurance that the development will be self contained on water for the for see able future. The discrepancy between the CRD estimate of 4 gal/minute and the Vantreight estimate of 304 is considerable and adds to concerns. It is inappropriate for this council to condemn some future council to dealing with with a water issue more critical than than the Senanous Drive matter. When the Vantreights developed the deep wells for the green houses and other agricultural uses many wells as far away as Sidney found there wells had reduced water in them. Have studies been done to assure that water can be provided without adversely impacting neighbours, has there been a study to provide a reasonable assurance of continuity of supply of potable water?
-
Residential developments have a higher water demand than farms do. If the land can not support farming can it support a residential development?
-
Will a note be attached to the title of all purchasers advising them that the development can not and will not be connected to local sewer and water?
